Microneedling/Radio Frequency
Microneedling R/F is the latest up-and-coming solution for the ultimate non-surgical face lift. This clinically proved method is a minimally invasive process that greatly reduces fine lines, wrinkles and lifts skin while promoting collagen and elastin production.
It is an advanced method of skin rejuvenation that stimulates the body's natural healing process to encourage collagen production in the dermis resulting in rejuvenated and tightened skin. During the treatment, the radio frequency energy is delivered through the insulated needles allowing precise delivery of energy to the dermis whilst protecting the epidermis of the skin.
How does it work?
Microneedling, also known as Collagen Induction Therapy, is a treatment that involves inserting multiple fine sterile needles into the skin to create trauma and stimulate collagen thus reducing the appearance of scars, wrinkles and develops firmer, even-toned skin.
The radio frequency wave penetrates the basal melanocyte barrier, heating the collagen fibres in the dermis to 55 - 60 degrees centigrade. This stimulates the body's natural healing process, increasing cell turnover as the body heals-resulting in the production of collagen and elastin in these areas
What areas can be treated?
Areas that can be treated are:
- Face
- Brow lifting
- Crow’s feet
- Nasolabial fold
- Neck and décolleté
- Marionette lines
- Jowls and Jawline
- Abdomen
- Hands
- Above the knees
- Necklace lines
What results can I expect?
The trauma caused by the microneedling will improve the skin and the radio frequency the elasticity resulting in smoother and less wrinkled skin.
